Description:
The Warehouse Associate for Manhattan Laminates | Roberts Plywood will be primarily responsible for processing inbound/outbound transactions in a timely and accurate manner, applying inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and servicing/supporting clients and departments.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick & package orders of plywood for shipment using sit-down forklift. Assist in customer pick-ups by locating orders via handheld scan gun, pulling correct items, and assisting the client load their vehicles. Assist in unloading and loading trucks. Maintain warehouse cleanliness (i.e. moving skids off the floor, keeping entrance to exits/entrances clear, discarding empty packaging, etc.) Maintain safe work environment by reporting hazards to management.

Requirements:
Required to lift and move at least 50 lbs. Required to have at least 1 year forklift experience. Required to display reliability & punctuality. Previous experience in lumber or distribution industry preferred. Maintain positive attitude to promote positive company culture. Desire to learn and improve one's own performance. Produce work with a high degree of accuracy while multi-tasking. Customer service focused. Possess problem-solving skills and readiness to research solutions. Ability to prioritize work and process large volume transactions.
