Full-Time (project-based work) Job Summary The General Material Handler•Heavy Dismantle is responsible for sorting and dismantling electronic equipment and recyclable materials in a warehouse environment. This role requires identifying material types, following established dismantling guidelines, and processing items safely and efficiently. The position works under general supervision and must consistently follow safety standards and operational procedures. Some outdoor work may be required based on project needs. Schedule Standard hours may vary depending on project needs Overtime may be required as needed Occasional travel to other sites (0-10%) Key Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Properly wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times Work under the direction of the Area Lead Sort and dismantle electronic equipment and materials by designated commodity types Follow dismantling cutlines and standard operating procedures Safely move materials and pallets using pallet jacks Operate or be trained to operate equipment such as balers and shredders Use hand and power tools to disassemble equipment Assist in other departments or work areas as needed Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications & Requirements Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Willingness to travel to other company locations as needed Strong communication skills (English required; Spanish bilingual preferred) Ability to read and understand basic work instructions Basic math skills required Prior warehouse, recycling, or dismantling experience is a plus but not required Education High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required) Work Environment Non-climate-controlled warehouse Moderate to high noise levels depending on equipment use Occasional outdoor work may be required Exposure to dust, materials, and industrial equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly, and up to 75 pounds with assistance Ability to stand for extended periods of time Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting Ability to use hand and power tools for extended periods Ability to handle and move large or heavy electronic components Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions Equipment Used Pallet jack Baler Shredder Hand tools Power tools Heavy dismantling equipment Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Equal Employment Opportunity Statement (EEOC) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
