A privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Duncanville, Texas, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinarian (DVM) to join its established and growing team. Located just south of Dallas, this practice offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality medicine in a supportive, relationship-driven environment. About the Position You'll collaborate directly with an experienced DVM owner in a practice that emphasizes low-stress handling, strong client relationships, and professional respect. The hospital is a two-doctor practice with a close-knit team culture focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care without corporate pressure. Doctors are encouraged to practice medicine their way, supported by excellent staff and efficient workflows that allow you to focus on patients, not quotas. What You'll Find Here Modern, well-equipped small animal hospital Diverse general practice caseload Emphasis on stress-minimized handling and personalized care plans Strong mentorship and collaboration with the practice owner High level of medical independence Positive, team-oriented culture that values quality over volume Excellent 2.5:1 technician-to-doctor ratio Hospital Hours & Scheduling Opening hours: Monday-Sunday 7am-6pm Most veterinarians work four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts rotate among doctors as needed. The practice is committed to maintaining a sustainable schedule and strong work-life balance.
