Responsibilities May need to operate various warehouse equipment including various types of industrial machinery and material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stock products efficiently. Assist with order picking and packing using RF scanners and warehouse management software to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Conduct inventory control activities such as stock counting, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to maintain accurate records. May need to support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks safely while adhering to OSHA safety regulations and safety protocol standards. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, packaging materials, and organizing stock in designated areas following safety guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following proper materials handling procedures and PPE use. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimize warehouse operations for maximum efficiency. Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management software systems is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to warehouse operations and materials handling. Mechanical knowledge or construction experience can be beneficial for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting. Strong manual handling skills paired with basic math proficiency for inventory counts and measurements. Experience with order picker or shipping & receiving roles that involve order fulfillment, load & unload tasks, and stock replenishment.
