Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Structural Steel Material Handler to support daily shop operations. This role is critical to keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move structural steel using overhead cranes and/or forklifts Stage materials for production based on schedules and shop priorities Maintain organization of steel inventory and work areas Support operators and shop teams with material needs Inspect materials for quality and report any issues Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace Qualifications At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing, steel, or industrial environment Overhead crane and/or forklift experience strongly preferred Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and safety Pay is DOE Why Ennis Steel?
