Job Description

Material Handler As a material handler, you'll provide support for all material yard functions including, but not limited to outgoing and incoming orders, material distribution, material inventory, receiving, and directing visitors, completion of essential paperwork, maintaining and ensuring compliance of tool inventory, issuing tools as need to crews, and distribution of information to appropriate departments. You will also be responsible for delivering material to crews in the field when needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Issue material to crews for work orders Complete data entry for incoming and outgoing material Perform other tasks as required by Material Manager and Project Management. Embrace and enforce material yard policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas. Ability to independently manage own time by prioritizing, planning, and organizing work to complete workload and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision Computer and smartphone literate Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs. throughout the day Ability to pull, lift, push, pick up and place down items throughout the day This is a minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays considered inclement weather make-up days. Ability to operate equipment i.e. skid steer
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Mechanical and/or electric experience preferred. Experience on the use of hand and power tools. 3+ years of driving experience with minimal non-moving violations.
Pre-Screen:
Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
Valid Driver's License required. Ability to obtain DOT Med Card with 90 days of employment.
Travel Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Physical Requirements:
RARE :
