Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and verify against purchase orders or packing slips. Accurately stage, store, and retrieve materials based on production schedules and inventory needs. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a safe and efficient manner. Perform inventory transactions in warehouse management or ERP systems. Support production by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials. Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies. Maintain proper documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory movements. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives. Frequent exposure to warehouse or manufacturing environments. Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of material handling, warehouse, or logistics experience. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Strong understanding of inventory control practices. Ability to read and interpret bills of materials, work orders, and shipping documents. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software (e.g., WMS, ERP). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks. Familiarity with barcode scanners or RF devices. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
