ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The basic function of the Warehouse Associate is to perform general tasks in a Warehouse environment. Ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times. Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labelling shipping and receiving. Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in. Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labelling). Stage finished product for loading. Load finished product or unload raw materials and move to warehouse storage. Make deliveries to various buildings and departments Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies. Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately. Perform additional duties as requested
EXPERIENCE 0-1
years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Associate's degree preferred. Ability to pass a basic reading, math, measurement, parts matching and counting test Able to read, understand, interpret and follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing specifications Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance Must be able to work a shift schedule and overtime as needed, including weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shift Ability to manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, platforms up to weighing 25-150 lbs Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close, Distance, Peripheral, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus Manual dexterity using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, lift, and hammer
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing warehouse environment with multi step process production runs on different machines. High value highly customized components, long and large parts, and high precision manufacturing for critical service applications
