Job Description

GI Corporation is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate / Packer to support our operations in Houston, TX. In this role, you will perform various warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading products. You will be responsible for receiving shipments from vendors, organizing inventory, and packaging products according to specific order requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate outgoing shipments, ensure prompt carrier pick-ups, and assist with securing the facility during standard operating hours. Job Responsibilities Maintain and organize the packaging facility and adjoining warehouse areas Process, package, and ship orders accurately according to order requirements Organize stocks and maintain accurate inventory levels Inspect incoming and outgoing products for defects, damages, or discrepancies Load and unload inventory shipments safely and efficiently Package outgoing materials using appropriate packing and barrier materials Abide by all company and OSHA safety and hygiene regulations Contribute ideas to improve or optimize daily warehousing and logistics procedures Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe on a daily basis Job Requirements Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or internal data management systems Ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Solid team player with excellent organizational and time-management skills Physical stamina to lift or move heavy products (up to 50 lbs) Must be a United States Citizen or a

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
