In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring smooth warehouse flow. Your proactive approach will help us meet customer demands swiftly and accurately. Whether you're handling order picking, packing, or operating equipment like forklifts and reach trucks, your contribution will keep our supply chain moving seamlessly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting e-commerce fulfillment and warehouse management systems. Responsibilities Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to optimize warehouse efficiency Prepare shipments by packaging products securely and accurately according to shipping standards Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and process inbound deliveries using AS400 or similar systems Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Support inventory management through stock counts, cycle counts, and updating records in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and calculating weights or dimensions Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes in an e-commerce environment is advantageous Comfortable working with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 platforms Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory control
