Job Summary Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate plays a critical role at Williams, assisting with various aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, shipping, and receiving. The mission of the Warehouse Associate is to support efficient and effective warehouse operations, help optimize inventory levels and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate collaborates with the Director of Operations, Logistics Coordinator, and Inside Sales teams. This role requires a team member focused on safety, efficiency, and contributing to greater productivity. Duties Assist in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of industrial valve products to meet customer demand and ensure timely order fulfillment. Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and replenishment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Follow established warehouse processes and procedures to support efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inside sales, logistics, and procurement, to coordinate warehouse activities and support business objectives. Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of materials and efficient shipping of orders. Contribute to maintaining warehouse performance metrics, including order accuracy and on-time delivery. Qualifications Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment with consistent performance. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. Familiarity with warehouse operations within the industrial manufacturing or distribution sector. Basic proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software, with a willingness to learn and utilize technology to streamline operations. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to warehouse operations, with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist in identifying and addressing warehouse issues effectively. Technical Requirements Technology savvy, comfortable working with various software is moderate to high. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a PLUS Microsoft Office Suite- Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Teams Smartsheet project management software is a PLUS.
