Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled warehouse worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for roof repair panels, pressure washing, and painting containers. This role requires the ability to use various tools such as hammers, saws, and drills for maintenance tasks and sign adjustments. Candidates must be mechanically inclined and adaptable to working in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools without supervision. Ensure quality standards are consistently met. Move materials using hand carts and/or pallet jacks. Conduct pressure washing of containers. Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment, both indoors and outdoors. Maintain PODHUNTER, including accurate inventory and container classification. Complete forklift training and operate a forklift safely. Perform light welding tasks such as on roof discs and door tracks, along with simple fabrication. Weld plastic on roofs and panels. Perform simple cutting operations using oxy/fuel equipment. Adhere to all safety policies and perform tasks safely, including compliance with OSHA regulations. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in material handling. Experience with hand and power tools. General labor and warehouse operation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience working outdoors. 2+ years of experience using hand/power tools in areas such as assembly, steel fabrication, carpentry, and industrial painting. Ability to perform light welding and simple cutting operations with oxy/fuel equipment. 2+ years of experience in construction-related mathematics. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role involves working in a hot environment with a standard shift from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The team recently ordered 50 roofs for 200 containers, highlighting the ongoing demand and activity in the facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Humble, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
