Job Description
Warehouse (Full-Time) - Houston, TX La Fortuna Imports - Houston, TX www.lafortunaimports.com About Us La Fortuna Imports is a small importer and distributor of cookware and food-safe clay pottery from Mexico. We proudly supply grocery stores and retailers across Texas, providing authentic products that connect with the Hispanic market. Position Summary We're looking for a full-time warehouse worker based in Houston, TX , to assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, and maintaining organization and cleanliness. Other Key Responsibilities Safely operate small to mid-size company vans to deliver products to clients. Complete local delivery routes within the Houston area. Make overnight delivery trips once per month to regions including West Texas, El Valle and (Rio Grande Valley). Most routes require one overnight stay . Outside delivery routes require early morning departures , as some stores open as early as 6:00 a.m. Take care of the company vehicle : keep it clean, report any maintenance needs, and communicate with the manager about required service. Driver will be responsible for taking the vehicle to the shop for scheduled service when instructed. Perform basic merchandising tasks at stores to keep displays organized and presentable. Keep product sections clean, organized, and well-stocked. Communicate professionally with clients and team members. Requirements Valid driver's license (able to operate small to mid-size vans). Bilingual (Spanish/English) - required. Able to lift product packages weighing 10-45 lbs . Reliable, responsible, and willing to travel overnight twice a month. Comfortable with early-morning departures for long-distance deliveries. Schedule Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts for local routes. Overnight trips once per month (usually early in the week, with early departures). General Support within the Company As part of a small business , the position requires flexibility and willingness to assist with other operational activities as needed.
