In this vital role, you will coordinate inbound shipments, manage inventory intake processes, and support overall warehouse operations to maintain optimal stock levels and seamless order fulfillment. The Warehouse Inbound Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all incoming shipments to ensure products and materials are received accurately, safely, and efficiently. This position oversees the receiving process from the arrival of shipments through inspection, documentation, inventory entry, and proper stocking. The Inbound Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, identifying damaged or defective products, resolving receiving discrepancies, and ensuring materials are available to the appropriate departments when needed. Responsibilities Inspection & Quality Control, Documentation & Record Keeping, Warehouse Operation, Inbound Receiving, Inventory & Stocking Receive inbound shipments by verifying shipment details against purchase orders and delivery documentation Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP software to log incoming inventory accurately Load, unload, and move goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling tools Conduct quality checks on received items, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with trade regulations Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining accurate records through data entry and inventory management software Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate timely processing of inbound goods and prepare for outbound shipments Assist in cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy in accordance with warehouse distribution standards Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping logistics, or inventory management preferred Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, order pickers, and RF scanners safely and efficiently Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance regulations including international trade standards Demonstrated customer service orientation with effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments
