Monday - Friday 1pm - -8pm Warehouse Associate Join the team at Adecco as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring the seamless movement of goods. This position offers a dynamic work environment in a well-organized facility dedicated to safety, quality, and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, and process all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation within compnay computer system. Perform quality assurance inspections to maintain high product standards. Segregate backorders and place received materials into designated warehouse locations, relocating and consolidating stock as needed. Prepare and package materials for shipment, including weighing, labeling, and assembling orders for delivery. Assist with loading trucks, preparing bills of lading, and ensuring timely dispatch. Maintain accurate local delivery records and complete pick tickets efficiently. Conduct inspections of returned materials prior to processing credit memos, returns, or restocking. Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean and organized, including assembling/disassembling racks and shelves. Administer preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles to ensure safety and optimal functionality. Record customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions, providing excellent customer service. Manage counter stock levels and assist with over-the-counter sales when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures. Flexibility to work evening shifts (1 pm - 8 pm) and perform tasks such as pallet building and packaging.
Work Environment & Conditions:
This role is based in a warehouse setting, generally well-ventilated and illuminated. Employees may work outdoors in various weather conditions and are expected to wear protective clothing. Operating heavy equipment is required, with strict safety protocols in place. This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch. Pay Details:
