Job Description - Material Handler Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: May be required to load/unload US mail from/into airline containers May be required to load/unload trucks May be required to push/pull USPS rolling stock equipment with and without (empty) US Mail May be required to push full/empty airline containers on ball decking May be required to load/unload full or empty airline equipment from Company transport dollies May be required to scan mail into/out of airline containers. May be required to weigh airline containers utilizing Company ball decking and scales May be required to validate the serviceability of airline containers based of airline requirements May be required to operate GSE equipment including but not limited to trucks and tugs May be assigned administrative duties by the supervisor which includes equipment checks/reports Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent is a plus Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance. Must be able to pass certain requirements mandated by the United States Post Office including but not limited to o Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for) o Have a verifiable 5-year United States (or any of its territories) residence o No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old. Some charges may disqualify you altogether regardless of length

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 70 pounds Must be able to stand lift, bend, push, pull and sit for extended periods of time Must be willing to work in warehouse environment
