GENERAL LABORER

Salary:

Commensurate with experience General Responsible for meeting production goals and schedule expectations by effectively managing multiple foreman, subcontractors, equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Assists project management in the supervision of foremen and employees responsible for excavation and subgrade preparation of soil-based materials on a heavy civil construction project. Key Responsibilities Ensuring that project safety and health is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, including client standards and requirements Flagging attendant; traffic control for heavy rolling equipment and construction traffic Confined space and firewatch attendant General cleanup and housekeeping Installation of geo grid / geo fabric Operation of light construction equipment and common hand tools Pumping and dewatering activities Utilize proper PPE for all activities Ticket signer/delivery receiver Driver for project transportation Requirements for Employment Experience preferred but not required (will train on job) Current valid driver license or state ID and clean driving record Ability to travel for extended project assignments Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and physical
