What You'll Do Oversee all fuel transfer procedures as the Person In Charge (PIC), including completing Bunker Delivery Receipts and Declaration of Inspections. Safely operate fuel dock machinery and prevent any spills or pollution during transfers. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and safety standards related to fueling operations. Monitor and maintain tanks, preventing overfills and ensuring proper pump and equipment functionality. Perform operational duties such as prepping hoses, gauging tanks, connecting hoses, and overseeing product transfers. Troubleshoot and maintain fueling equipment, keeping everything clean, orderly, and in good working condition. Handle housekeeping duties like cleaning the containment area and dewatering as necessary. Participate in safety, fire fighting, and spill drills and meetings. Respond to emergencies as needed and be prepared for quick, effective action. Stay up-to-date with all relevant licenses, certifications, and safety equipment use. Regular attendance and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. What We're Looking For Previous experience in the maritime industry, especially with marine and petroleum products. Valid TWIC card required. Ability to lift and carry 50-100 lbs and fulfill other physical requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with supervisors and coworkers. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends. Compensation Transparency The hourly pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for per diem.
