Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities begin in the warehouse, learning the product and the business as well as ensuring deliveries of material are promptly organized and executed. Delivery Drivers/Warehouse Associates will split their time between completing deliveries and working in the warehouse. Each day will be a little different, depending on shipments and customer orders. We are always looking for driven, intelligent, sales-oriented, reliable employees who are hungry to learn. CED (Consolidated Electrical Distributors) is an industry leader in the electrical wholesale market, with over 700 locations nationwide. This position is with the Consolidated Electrical Distributor Profit Center in Ponder, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Familiarize yourself with the layout of the warehouse and associated stocked products. Become accustomed to CED processes and procedures when it comes to warehouse and delivery operations. Handle material and associated paperwork from receiving shipments to delivering materials to customers. Perform all required duties to serve customers and support team goals. Communicate with sales team members to coordinate and deliver product Sort and identify a wide variety of products and part numbers Locate and re-stock product in assigned locations Fulfill sales orders accurately and quickly Loading and unloading cargo Handle paperwork in a detailed manner consistent with CED policy

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday 40 + hour work week during normal business hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm Overtime can be expected and sometimes required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Fast, hardworking, driven, and motivated High intelligence with the ability to learn quickly High School Diploma or equal Minimum of 18 Years Old Valid Drivers License with acceptable record Read, write, and understand English Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Stand, bend, twist, lift, reach, and walk with frequent repetition Stoop, kneel, crouch with occasional sitting Listen and speak clearly Clear vision, or corrected vision, for near, moderate and distance Lift 50lbs unassisted

COMPENSATION

$20.00 - $22.00/hr + ANNUAL
