Our team specializes in the installation of lightning protection systems, grounding systems, surge suppression, and ground testing services. Position Summary Hicks Lightning Protection is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Delivery Associate to support warehouse operations and field crews. This position is responsible for local deliveries, inventory management, shipping and receiving, material handling, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This role is vital to ensuring our projects and field teams have the materials and equipment needed to succeed. ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Transportation Deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to local construction jobsites. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently. Run errands to pick up materials, tools, parts, and supplies as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Maintain company vehicles in a clean and safe condition. Warehouse Operations Assist with inventory counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation. Update inventory, shipping, and receiving records. Organize and label materials, pallets, and warehouse stock. Process pick tickets and prepare materials for shipment. Shipping, Receiving & Material Handling Receive and inspect incoming shipments. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and deliveries. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse. General Support Assist with minor equipment repairs and warehouse maintenance. Equip company vehicles with required tools and safety equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Support warehouse staff, office personnel, and field crews as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications CDL Class B License required Clean driving record High school diploma or GED required Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening Previous warehouse, delivery, logistics, or construction experience preferred General construction knowledge preferred Forklift experience preferred (certification is a plus) Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand and remain active for up to 10-12 hours per day Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate forklifts, warehouse equipment, and company vehicles Willingness to travel throughout the local metroplex with occasional travel to other company locations Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required What We Offer Company-paid Medical, Dental, Life, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability Insurance Additional voluntary benefits available Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan with 4% Employer Match Career advancement opportunities with a growing company Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and industrial construction projects nationwide Employees are eligible for benefits upon completion of the introductory period.
