Job Description
General Laborers are responsible for supporting production operations including machine feeding, material handling, and maintenance support in San Saba, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
Feed raw material into veneer saw machines safely and efficiently Maintain consistent machine feed rates to support production targets Monitor material flow to prevent jams or equipment damage Sort materials by size, quality, and type Stack finished products in designated storage areas Move materials safely using proper lifting techniques Maintain organized pallet stacking for shipping and storageEquipment Maintenance:
General Laborers are responsible for basic machine upkeep on a daily and weekly basis.Tasks include:
check for abnormal noises or operation issues, Clean debris and slurry buildup around equipment, Assist maintenance personnel with scheduled lubrication, Inspect work areas for wear or hazards, Report any mechanical issues immediately. Employees must maintain a safe and clean work environment by: Removing debris from work areas Keeping aisles and walkways clear Organizing tools and materials properly Assisting with end-of-shift cleanup proceduresPhysical Requirements:
Lifting 50+ pounds regularly Standing for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts) Working in outdoor and shop environments Repetitive lifting, bending, and material handling Working in dusty, noisy, and production environmentsSafety Compliance:
All employees must follow company safety policies including: Wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Following lockout/tagout procedures when applicable Using proper lifting techniques Immediately reporting hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions Following supervisor instructions and safety guidelinesSchedule:
Monday- Thursday 6:00 AM
- 6:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM
- 4:00 PM; Saturday when production demands.
Pay :
$15- 16/ Hour pending Experience Benefits at
