In this role, you will support construction projects by assisting with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools and machinery, maintaining clean and safe job sites, and performing other essential duties as directed by site supervisors. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work in various weather conditions, and committed to safety on the job. Responsibilities Assist in site preparation, including loading and unloading materials and equipment Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and light machinery Follow instructions from site supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely Clean and maintain job sites, including removing debris, organizing tools, and disposing of waste Provide general support to skilled tradespeople as needed Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable transportation to job sites Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Must know how to use hand tools and read a tape measure. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving production goals.
