Job Description
Full time Construction Labor Helper ( This position is a full-time role and is not compatible with school schedules.) Paradise Pools of Texas, Inc. Paradise Pools of Texas is seeking a dependable and motivated Construction Labor Helper to assist with the construction projects. This position supports the construction team by performing general labor tasks, maintaining job site and facility cleanliness, and assisting skilled trades throughout all phases of construction. Responsibilities
- Assist construction crews with daily job site activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Assist with excavation, plumbing, steel installation, forming, concrete placement, masonry, equipment installation, and other construction activities.
- Operate hand tools and basic construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and project managers.
- Assist with material staging and inventory management.
- Maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record required: Yes / No Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company.
- Must be able to report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout the service area as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Previous construction, excavation, plumbing, concrete, or pool construction experience is a plus but not required.
