Job Description

TITLE:
Warehouse Quality Assurance Technician SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for efficiently and accurately performing tasks from receiving to releasing incoming Raw Materials/components, and to follow LaCore Nutraceuticals Quality program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Supports all food safety and quality systems requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, certifying body, GFSI, and company requirements. Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees notifying them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain a clean work environment in keeping with the 5S standards. Perform AQL inspections on components / raw materials. Complete raw material and component sampling. Perform 3M Clean Trace Allergen and ATP Charm Swabs. Ensure the Blade/knife policy and procedures are being followed. Submit samples via QES. Release and green tag approved raw materials/components. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have the ability to read, understand, and carry out verbal and written instructions . Possess basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft office suite. Work well in a face paced and always changing manufacturing environment. Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail. Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in an environment where you are exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens. Required to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal Checks).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-year related experience preferred. Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Constantly (minimum of 6 hrs. but up to 8 hrs.) stand and use hands/fingers throughout the shift. Frequently (up to 6 hrs.) walk, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl throughout the shift. Occasionally (up to 3 hrs.) sit and reach above/below shoulder level. Occasionally (up to 3 hrs.) push/pull up to 50 pounds. Frequently (up to 6 hrs.) lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
