Wilmer, TX Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401(k), direct deposit and the referral bonus program Job Description A well-established automotive parts and recycling operation is seeking a Yard Worker to support daily yard and material-handling activities. In this role, you will locate and remove parts from vehicles, inspect and stage materials, and help maintain a safe and organized work area. You may also operate material-handling equipment, assist with vehicle staging, and support loading and inventory activities. This is a hands-on position for someone comfortable working outdoors and around vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Locate, remove, inspect, and stage automotive parts for customer orders and deliveries Operate a forklift, order selector, or loader as assigned to move parts and vehicles safely Load trucks, organize parts and supplies, and maintain accurate staging and inventory areas Clean vehicles and yard areas, remove debris, dismantle tires, and assist with vehicle processing Follow established safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
No previous experience required; related warehouse or yard experience is helpful High school diploma or GED preferred Forklift certification is beneficial Basic computer, math, and communication skills Ability to follow established procedures, instructions, and work priorities Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required Must be comfortable working around vehicles, equipment, high noise levels, extreme temperatures, cramped spaces, and other yard conditions Must wear required personal protective equipment and follow all workplace safety procedures
