Undisclosed, Marshall Industries Inc., an employee-owned company established in 1975, is a leader in the Audio/Video integration industry and we are currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in the St. George area. We serve a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, House of Worship, Communications, and Commercial AV.
Primary Role:
Warehouse Specialist responsible for coordinating inventory, equipment, and project materials; managing receiving, storage, staging, and distribution activities; and ensuring technicians have timely access to the resources needed to support efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the quantity and quality of incoming equipment Oversee inventory re-order levels of all equipment to assure appropriate level and maximize turnover of equipment Ensure that incoming equipment is properly received, unpacked, and stored Develop and maintain efficient inventory tracking system Responsible for adjusting incoming and outgoing inventory in information system Coordinates and stages project inventory and equipment in advance to ensure technicians can quickly retrieve, load, and deploy materials for scheduled projects. Oversees inventory counts to assure accuracy of current monitoring system Prepares, organizes, and stages project-specific inventory and equipment to streamline technician pickups and support efficient field deployment. Participates in year-end inventory count Ensures the proper packing and delivery of equipment to customer site Monitor the return of unused job-related inventory to vendor or stock Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports Other duties as required or assigned by company management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be responsible, reliable, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized. Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groups. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific duedate. Must be able to effectively manage stressful situations. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation. Valid and current driver's license Must successfully pass a background and drug screen
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers Ability to lift to 70lbs. Ability to reach, grasp, and carry, pull, push Ability to operate large warehouse machinery such as forklift, pallet jacks, ladders, scaffolding, etc. Moderate noise levels Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations
