Warehouse Associate

Cornaby's Specialty Foods is a locally-owned food manufacturer, specializing in Cornaby's branded products of retail jams, sauces, nut butters, bakery fillings & food thickeners. We also do private label and co-manufacturing for many diverse clients, for the retail & foodservice industries, locally and across the country. We are looking for an organized & motivated warehouse associate to join our team.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse Process inventory for deliveries/pickups Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location Package items and label correctly Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations Ensure work space is free of debris and remove safety hazards Ensure storage areas are clean at all times Keep warehouse premises neat and clean Work as an active team member to complete team production goals Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory Prepare documentation and inventory for audits Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials

Warehouse Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent Able to pass drug test/background check Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or more Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently High attention to detail and monitor quality/quantity of inventory Highly organized and able to store & rotate items efficiently Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
