Job Description
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM | $17/hour Salt Lake City, UT Mountain West Mothers' Milk Bank (MWMMB) is looking for a dependable, detail‑driven Warehouse Assistant to join our Shipping & Receiving team. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a mission that directly supports medically fragile infants, this role offers a meaningful way to make a difference every day. Why This Role Matters Every ounce of donor human milk that comes through our doors helps premature and medically fragile infants across Utah and the Mountain West. As a Warehouse Assistant, you play a key role in ensuring milk is received, documented, and shipped with accuracy and care. Your work directly supports NICUs, hospitals, and families who rely on safe, high-quality pasteurized donor human milk. What You'll Do Intake, label, and document fresh frozen donor human milk Prepare, schedule, and track outgoing shipments Communicate with hospitals, clinics, and couriers Receive and document incoming deliveries Provide friendly, professional customer service Support daily cleaning, sanitization, and warehouse upkeep Assist with general operational tasks as needed Who Thrives Here This role is perfect for someone who: Enjoys structured processes and following clear procedures Communicates professionally with partners and couriers Stays calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Values accuracy, consistency, and teamwork Wants to contribute to a mission that supports vulnerable infants A food handler's permit is required—if you do not have one, we will help you get it.
