Job Description

About Us:
CFC Farm and Home Center is looking to add a team-oriented individual to our company! We are a local feed, seed, fertilizer, and retail business with seven locations throughout Virginia that have proudly served local farmers and members of the community since 1932. Here at CFC, we strive to serve both agricultural producers and homeowners across Northern and Central Virginia. We do this by manufacturing our own animal feed from locally sourced grains, offer services in agronomy and animal nutrition, and by providing a wide variety of products for all types of consumers.
Summary:
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all of our patrons, controlling inventory loss, and ensuring that all merchandise is handled with care. What to
Expect:
Daily responsibilities include: Confirming all merchandise agrees with the purchase orders. Filling customer's orders quickly and accurately. Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner. Loading merchandise into customer or CFC vehicles and assure that the vehicle is not damaged. Stocking incoming merchandise. Keeping warehouse inventory arranged in neat, orderly stacks for efficiency and inventory control purposes. Filling propane tanks for customers (must be 18 years of age). Using a forklift to load and move product safely (must be 18 years of age). Maintaining proper safety and housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
While a formal education is not required, candidates must have: Strong organizational skills. Forklift experience The ability to lift 100lbs. Knowledge of warehouse and agricultural products and procedures. The ability to work various shifts. Must be at least 18 years old.
