Temp-to-Hire About the Opportunity We are hiring a Warehouse Lead / Senior Warehouse Associate•Shift Lead to join a growing healthcare logistics company in Charlottesville, VA. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, dependable warehouse professional ready to step into a bigger role. You will be a key resource on the floor, keeping operations moving, supporting your teammates, and making sure daily goals are met safely and accurately. This is a working lead role for someone who takes pride in their craft, shows up consistently, and helps bring out the best in the people around them. What You'll Do Oversee day-to-day task flow and adjust priorities as workload changes Work alongside the team on scanning, sorting, staging, pallet movement, and material handling Monitor shift progress and flag delays or safety concerns to management Conduct spot checks to verify scanning accuracy, organization, and adherence to standard procedures Uphold and reinforce safety protocols throughout the shift Train new hires on equipment, processes, and workplace expectations Use RF scanners, warehouse systems, Microsoft Teams, and Excel to track progress and communicate updates Support recordkeeping and assist with basic shift reporting What We're Looking For At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment Experience in a lead, training, or senior floor role is a plus Comfortable directing workflow and making decisions on the floor Strong attention to detail and a consistent, dependable work record Comfortable with RF scanning equipment and basic Microsoft Office programs Clear communicator who can work independently and support a team Additional Information This is a temp-to-hire position.
