Full Job Description Overview:
Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving trucks, creating and sending paperwork, managing inventory, and assisting with other warehouse receiving duties . If you are looking for a full time , direct-hire position to get your foot in the door and gain hands on experience with an industry leader in wire, cable, and industrial automation, then we may be the right fit for you!
Hours:
7AM to 4PM Mon-Fri with an hour for lunch
Pay:
$21/hr + full benefits

Accruals start date of hire Seven paid holidays Access to robust healthcare options, including medical, dental and vision coverage Secure you future with 401(K) plan featuring employer contributions Company paid - Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance Voluntary benefits available What You'll Do Receive in trucks and transfer material to specific locations Inspect and verify package contents, including quantity, part numbers, and any required certifications Utilize ERP system (Oracle) to enter receiving data and handle documentation including BOLs, packing slips, invoices, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) Schedule and coordinate incoming deliveries Conduct cycle counts and update inventory reports Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with housekeeping duties Perform additional responsibilities as needed What You'll Bring High School diploma or GED equivalent required 2+ years in a warehouse receiving department required Forklift experience required (sit down, stand up, or order picker) Computer literacy required (Oracle experience a plus) Basic math and reading skills Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs About GCG At GCG , our mission is to power, connect, and automate our world.
