Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This is a physically demanding position involving order picking, stocking, receiving, and material handling in a non-climate-controlled environment. The ideal candidate has at least one year of warehouse experience and hands-on experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, including order pickers reaching heights of up to 20 feet. Candidates should have a strong work history, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and order pickers to move and store materials safely. Pull, pick, and prepare outbound orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials. Put away inventory, including loose fittings, bags, boxes, and other warehouse materials. Read and follow work orders to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and other warehouse duties as assigned. Support various warehouse functions, including receiving, returns, and indoor or outdoor material handling. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience. At least 1 year of sit-down and stand-up forklift experience. Experience operating order pickers at heights of up to 20 feet. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Ability to stand, bend, twist, pull, and remain physically active throughout the shift. Ability to read and understand work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable work history with consistent employment. Wholesale distribution experience, particularly with companies such as Lowes or Home Depot, is a plus. Work Environment Non-climate-controlled warehouse that can become hot during summer months. Physically demanding role requiring approximately 75% of the workday on your feet. Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, and forklift operation.
