Job Description

Summit Environmental Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to assist in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, and job material coordination. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, supporting our field crews by ensuring materials are ordered, received, stocked, and ready for installation jobs. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, physically capable, and confident working with vendors to secure the best pricing and availability. Basic computer skills are required for this role. Key Responsibilities Manage warehouse organization, cleanliness, and overall workflow Track inventory levels and material usage using Sortly Order materials for upcoming jobs and ensure timely delivery Receive shipments, verify accuracy, and properly stock inventory Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain relationships and solve issues quickly Negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions Maintain inventory counts, monitor re-order thresholds, and reduce material shortages Stage materials for crews so jobs run smoothly and efficiently Assist with loading/unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the warehouse Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Qualifications & Skills 1+ year experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, or purchasing (preferred) Experience managing inventory systems (Sortly experience a big plus) Experience working with Google Sheets / Excel Basic computer skills Comfortable communicating with vendors and negotiating pricing Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Team-first mindset and strong communication skills Forklift certification strongly preferred Multilingual (English & Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly Must be comfortable with a physical job involving standing, walking, bending, and carrying materials Ability to work in a warehouse environment and handle moving equipment/materials safely

From $20.00 per hour
