Job Description

Seasonal Warehouse Associate (Part-Time Dayshift)
Position Summary:
M. Price Distributing Co. is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Warehouse Associate to support our day-to-day operations during our peak season. This role is critical for maintaining inventory flow, repairing damaged products, processing returns, and preparing specialized equipment for events. This is a physical, fast-paced position perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
Schedule:
Part-time, Dayshift (Seasonal) Monday - Thursday (start time negotiable) Approximately 30-32 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Product Repackaging:
Inspect and sort damaged cases. Salvage sellable individual units and repackage them into clean, sellable cases to minimize product loss.
Flow Rack Replenishment:
Restock gravity-fed flow racks from bulk storage to ensure order pickers have a continuous supply of product.
Event Logistics:
Load and organize "party trailers" with necessary supplies, including beverage stock, CO2 tanks, tapping equipment, and promotional materials for community events.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and safe workspace by clearing plastic wrap, broken pallets, and debris.
Returns & Check-In:
Greet delivery drivers as they return from their routes. Assist in accurately checking in returned, refused, damaged or mispicked inventory against route manifests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs regularly and up to 160 lbs (kegs) using proper lifting techniques or team lifts. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to accurately count inventory and identify SKU differences during the truck check-in process.
Reliability:
Consistent attendance is vital, especially during high-volume seasonal periods.
Equipment Use:
Willingness to be trained on motorized pallet jacks.
Age Requirement:
Must be 18+ years of age
Work Environment:
Fast-paced warehouse setting. Exposure to varying temperatures (dry warehouse, cold storage/coolers). Frequent movement, including walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
