This role is responsible for assisting technicians and field crews with obtaining materials or removal of debris. Anderson Air Conditioning & Heating has been in business for over 37 years. Hours are 7:30AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday, potentially earlier on special occasions.

Essential Job Functions:

Must have a clean driving record, no current moving violations preferably positive license points. Able to effectively communicate with office and field technicians by text and phone. Coordinate and assist technicians with extension ladder delivery set up Organize and clean warehouse area. Received deliveries and hand off paperwork to office staff. Must be able to lift, up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to walk. sit, stand, drive for 8 hours. Able to work in hot and cold conditions, exposed to weather and on in progress construction sites. Other administrative and office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years of delivery driving or similar experience. Clean driving record, comfort with driving a large van or box truck. Previous experience in HVAC or another trade is preferable. Must be able to effectively prioritize and organize daily job duties. Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with the greater Richmond area is preferable Knowledge of supply house and parts counter processes is preferred. We're hiring a full-time, in-person Warehouse associate/Delivery driver to be the operational hub of our company. You will play a crucial role in keeping our technicians on schedule and our customers happy by ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing directly to our company's success.

What You'll Do:

Be the person responsible for picking up and delivering equipment to technicians at the job site or warehouse for later projects. Maintain and organize warehouse area for optimal storage and inventory of stock materials. Perform essential tasks including driving, loading and unloading orders, and other duties as needed. Able to communicate with technicians, managers and office staff to coordinate effectively.

What We're Looking For:

An organized individual able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed. Prior experience in the HVAC, other trades or construction industry is highly valued. A highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with iPhone or tablet.
