Job Description
PODS is seeking a dependable Storage Center Worker III to support daily warehouse and storage operations. In this role, you will load and unload portable storage containers, organize and stage units, and help manage inventory accuracy. You'll inspect containers and equipment for safety, follow strict OSHA and company standards, and operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed. You will also assist drivers and occasionally interact with customers, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient storage center that reflects PODS' customer-first, safety-focused culture. Responsibilities Load and unload portable storage containers safely and efficiently Organize, stage, and store containers according to company procedures Assist with inventory tracking and accuracy checks Inspect containers, equipment, and warehouse areas for safety and damage Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as authorized Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free storage center Support drivers with container placement and retrieval Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies Provide basic customer assistance when needed Report equipment or safety issues promptly to supervisors Required Skills Warehouse operations Inventory management Forklift operation Pallet jack/hand truck use Basic data entry Safety and OSHA compliance Loading and unloading containers Equipment inspection Time management Basic customer service
