In this vital role, you will ensure smooth warehouse operations by managing inventory, processing shipments, and supporting order fulfillment with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and shipping logistics within a fast-paced distribution setting. Responsibilities Accurately receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with attention to detail and accuracy. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling tools to load and unload goods safely. Maintain precise inventory records through data entry in inventory management software and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping & receiving procedures for domestic and international shipments. Assist in stocking shelves, organizing warehouse space, and managing stock levels using inventory management software. Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely order fulfillment. Perform regular warehouse safety checks, uphold best practices in packaging and order picking, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members on warehouse distribution tasks, including load & unload operations and order picker activities. Provide excellent customer service by accurately processing orders and responding promptly to internal requests. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), or MRP is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, or other material handling equipment is a plus. Basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and calculating quantities are essential. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and logistics processes is beneficial. Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will support your success in this role.
