Company Overview Whatever It Takes Transmission Parts, Inc is an employee-owned transmission parts company dedicated to providing quality parts and reliable delivery services to transmission and automotive shops. Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and energetic Warehouse Assistant/Parts counter help to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, keeping a clean workspace, providing customer service by helping customers that come into the warehouse, pulling orders, invoicing orders, collecting money, supporting shipping and receiving processes, assisting drivers with box counts and paperwork, submitting a daily deposit, and inventory processes to maintain accurate inventory levels. Duties Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including order picking and loading/unloading shipments Help customers that come to the parts counter by looking up parts, processing parts orders, and collecting payments. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand dolly's, lift cart, parts cart, scanning equipment, banding equipment, and computers Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory accurately, cycle counting Support shipping and receiving activities by loading, unloading, and verifying incoming and outgoing goods Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols and mechanical guidelines Manage materials handling processes efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment for deliveries, UPS shipments, and LTL shipments Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment while conducting regular safety inspections Experience Prior warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling Pervious parts department and parts counter experience Experience operating basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks- manual and electric Familiarity with UPS WorldShip Software, and use of computers Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Previous roles involving shipping & receiving, load & unload procedures Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse settings Experience supervising or supporting warehouse teams is a plus Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your skills in warehouse operations will make a meaningful impact! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
