Back General Labor - Poultry Processing Light Industrial & Manufacturing Middlebury , Indiana Contract to Hire Oct 5, 2026 Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is hiring General Labor Associates for a poultry processing facility. This position works in the Evisceration Department , where team members are responsible for removing internal organs from poultry and ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around raw poultry and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Hours:

6:30am - 5pm Monday -

Thursday Overtime:

Up to 2 hours per day + Fridays as needed

Pay:

$17.00/hr Job Duties Perform evisceration and processing duties on poultry products Remove and inspect internal organs according to established procedures Maintain product quality and food safety standards Operate production equipment and tools safely Identify and remove products that do not meet quality specifications Keep work areas clean and sanitized Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable working with raw poultry products Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Strong attention to quality and safety Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Previous manufacturing, food production, or poultry processing experience is a plus but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply Physical Requirements Stand for 8-12 hour shifts Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
