Warehouse Specialist Req #786 100 N Hayford Rd, Airway Heights, WA 99001, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Monday, May 4, 2026 at 6:00 AM Summary of Functions Receives and keeps records on all incoming shipments and prepares items for storage or distribution. Picks food/supply inventory for distribution to Food and Beverage outlets and other casino departments. Maintains inventories of items stored in the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations. Responsible for all products received and either their storage and or delivery. Receives and stores or distributes all general supplies. Responsible for noting any damaged/missing goods upon receipt and informing shipper of the conditions prior to departure of the delivery carrier. Receives all secured items, including Gaming Supplies, in accordance with casino policies and procedures. Responsible for food and beverage products to ensure conformance to established quality standards. Responsible for counting and sorting and/or weighs incoming merchandise to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices. Responsible for the completion of the receiving log for non-inventory products. Responsible for picking, stacking, and unloading received goods and merchandise. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and or uses hand trucks and/or industrial trucks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from receiving area to storage or work area. Transports materials or supplies to other departments, using hand truck or industrial truck. Completes and forwards completed Purchase Order receiving information to Inventory Control Clerks. Participates in month end inventories. Assists in the disposition of surplus/damaged equipment for sale or disposal. Responsible for safe operation of all warehouse equipment. Ensure all work areas are organized and clean and products are properly stored and rotated. Learns, comprehends, and complies with all casino policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulations. Responsible for all Fed Ex and UPS deliveries and outgoing parcels. Responsible for printing PO's and tracking tickets from Sage and PO's from BirchStreet. Responsible for printing and fulfillment of requisitions to venues in BirchStreet. Responsible for merchandise pickups and deliveries around the Spokane metro area. Ensures control/protection of casino assets. Ensures that highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a positive manner. Experience One-year purchasing/receiving/warehouse experience Skills & Abilities Proficient in the use of Microsoft Programs, Sage 500, and Birchstreet. Knowledge of various warehouse machinery necessary for receiving and delivery of inventory. Knowledge of standard purchasing, receiving and i n ventory control policies, procedures, and practices. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with government officials, department heads, team members, guests, vendors, and the general public. Skill in effectively communicating information through verbal and written correspondence to Department Heads, team members, guests, vendors, and the general public. Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills. Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screen. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Other Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal License. Valid driver's license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle). Food Handler's Permit and Class I & V lift truck certification preferred. Available and willing to work nights, weekends holidays and on-call as required.
