Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will handle a variety of tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and packaging. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment Load and unload shipments safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and loaders Stock shelves, organize inventory, and perform regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory levels Prepare items for shipment by packaging products securely according to company standards Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to meet daily operational goals Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution operations is preferred Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire Experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus Knowledge of warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or MRP systems) is advantageous Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Ability to use RF scanners for order picking and inventory management Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to lift heavy packages safely and stand or walk for extended periods This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in logistics!
