Job Description

Kanto is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team! Our Canadian-based company designs, manufactures, and supports a wide range of consumer electronics products. Kanto has experienced rapid growth over the last few years, and we have just recently established our first US warehouse facility located in Burlington, WA. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to help accommodate the increasing workload. What you'll do: Pick, pack, sort, and put away stock while ensuring minimal errors Assist with inventory counts as required Work safely and abide by WHS standards/requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety regulations and guidelines Receive returned merchandise and inspect items for damage, defects, or missing parts Verify return reasons and ensure proper documentation is completed for each return Accurately record returned items in the inventory management system Sort and categorize returned items based on condition, ensuring they are ready for reworking or recycling Re-work inventory based on guidance of Warehouse management Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, based on operational requirements Any additional project work and assigned tasks when required Comply with all OHSR (Occupational Health & Safety Regulation) requirements What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to follow processes and work with minimal supervision. Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office. Basic mathematical skills to accurately record quantities and perform simple calculations. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with pick-and-pack in an e-commerce, retail or warehouse environment. Familiarity with reverse logistics processes and industry best practices. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
