Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our logistics and customer service operations! We are a flooring company seeking a motivated individual who can safely operate a 16' box truck and deliver flooring material to job sites. This positions will included carrying heavy material, so canidate needs to be able to lift a minimum between 60-80 lbs, ensuring products reach our customers efficiently and safely. Duties Safely operate 16' box trucks with manual transmissions, to deliver goods to customers across designated routes Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques to ensure proper handling of products Verify delivery orders, inspect loads for accuracy, and secure cargo for transit Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs promptly Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout your shift Assist in warehouse organization by moving stock, restocking shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices at all times Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving large or bulky items regularly Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and handling physically demanding tasks Flooring experience is a plus; certification in forklift operation is advantageous but not required Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet your passion for logistics!
