Job Description

Pallet Repair Tech Location:
Lacey, WA Pay:
$18.25 Position Summary The Pallet Repair Technician / Pallet Builder is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding damaged pallets to return them to service-ready condition. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by restoring pallets efficiently and safely before preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities Inspect inbound pallets for damage and determine appropriate repair methods Repair and rebuild pallets using proper tools and techniques to meet quality standards Verify completed pallets meet company specifications and customer requirements Accurately complete all required production paperwork Maintain production efficiency and meet established repair quotas after training Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Stack and organize repaired pallets according to inventory guidelines Ensure loads are properly secured for transport Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and plant leadership Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and core values Tools & Equipment Used Nail gun Manual and electric saws Hammer Wire brushes Pneumatic and other woodworking tools Qualifications & Requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work quickly and efficiently with hands Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Effective communication skills (oral and written) Ability to work independently and meet production goals Must strictly follow all safety rules and regulations Experience & Education Experience safely operating air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual tools required Background in construction, carpentry, roofing, welding, or similar trades strongly preferred High school diploma or GED required Completion of a trade or craft apprenticeship is a plus Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and walking throughout shifts Work performed in an industrial environment with exposure to outdoor elements (heat, cold, dust, etc.) Ability to maintain balance and coordination while handling materials Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including: Safety glasses Hearing protection Steel-toe or safety footwear Noise levels vary depending on location Why Join Us?
