Job Description

Aerotek Is Hiring for Construction Laborers in Spokane, Pay- 20-24$/h!! Immediate Starting!!! Job Description The General Laborer works in a modern production facility, supporting concrete production and related activities. You set up molds, assemble rebar cages, pour and finish concrete, and perform a wide range of general labor tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work area. You operate hand and power tools, measuring devices, mobile equipment, and cranes, and assist with special projects as needed. Responsibilities Set up molds and forms to prepare for concrete pours according to production requirements. Assemble rebar cages and reinforcement components accurately and safely. Pour, spread, and finish concrete to specified standards and quality requirements. Assist with shoveling and moving concrete within the production environment. Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices in a safe and effective manner. Operate mobile equipment and cranes as directed, including working around suspended loads and high-tension strand. Access scaffolds and other elevated work platforms while following all safety procedures. Perform general laborer duties such as material handling, site cleanup, and basic maintenance tasks. Support special projects and production initiatives as assigned by supervisors. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills At least 2 years of general labor or construction experience. Ability to work safely in a production environment around concrete, suspended loads, and high-tension strand. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in a construction or industrial setting. Experience working with concrete or in concrete-related tasks (pouring, finishing, or handling) is strongly preferred. Ability to read and use measuring devices accurately. Capability to work at heights on scaffolds and elevated work platforms. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, shoveling, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliable attendance and ability to work first shift, Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction, concrete, carpentry, or general labor. Exposure to production environments such as batch plant operations, rigging, carpentry, welding, mechanics, or concrete finishing is beneficial, though this role focuses on general labor. Comfort operating or working around mobile equipment and cranes. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks. No formal certifications required for this position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newman Lake, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.19 - $25.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
