This position assists with material handling, component preparation, assembly, testing, shipping and receiving, housekeeping, and general production support. The role works closely with production personnel and provides support across multiple departments while helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment.

Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Career Advancement Opportunities Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform general labor duties throughout the manufacturing facility as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Move raw materials, parts, and finished products using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment. Load, unload, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility to support production schedules. Assist assemblers, machinists, welders, painters, and other production personnel with daily tasks. Assemble products and components according to established instructions and procedures. Assist with product testing prior to final inspection. Perform grinding, drilling, deburring, sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation of components. Clean completed products and prepare them for shipment. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including documentation review, material verification, component inspection, and basic measurements. Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment. Assist with inventory movement and organization of materials within the facility. Operate basic shop equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures. Inspect work for defects and report quality concerns, damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervision. Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures. Wear and properly maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-train in multiple production areas to provide operational flexibility. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, industrial, or mechanical experience preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Consistent quality and productivity performance. Effective communication with team members and supervisors. Physical Demands Frequently stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Heavier loads may require team lifting or mechanical assistance. Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment after required training and certification. Ability to work throughout the manufacturing facility in support of production operations. Working Conditions Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron, and boots).
