Job Description:

Fireworks Gallery is looking to fill the position of Delivery Driver available in our SODO warehouse. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying bins that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer, vendor and fellow co-worker contact and driving skills. The ideal candidate would be responsible for loading and unloading shipment, completing accurate distribution to our multiple store locations, and coordinating pick- ups/drop-offs for orders. We are looking for reliable, hardworking, safety-minded drivers.

Job Requirements:

Establish and maintain great working relationships with vendors and co-workers Strong communication and presentation skills Deliver product to our stores as well as pick up orders from our vendors Load and unload shipment Ensure accuracy of orders and prioritize daily workloads Able to lift 50 lbs. daily and up to 70 lbs. Work eight or more hours per day Assist with scheduling of maintenance and cleaning of the delivery van During November 24 - December 27, candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include at least 1 weekend day.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license 1-2 years of delivery driving of Sprinter Van or similar vehicle and/or warehouse experience is strongly desired. No moving violation or DUI/DWI within the last 12 months CDL license not required Must be able to complete Port of Seattle badging process and background check

Job Type:

Hourly non-exempt position, full time at 40 hours per week Competitive pay starting at $24.00 - $25.00/ HR Vacation and Holiday Paid Time Off (upon full time status accrual)
