Job Description

Trade Team is hiring work starting in July for Shipyard Laborers/Brush and Roll Painters/Firewatch in Seattle, WA!
Brush and Roll/General Labor Job Duties:
Will be performing general labor/fire watch/brush and roll work to support marine/shipyard operations Assisting welders and structural tradesmen Ensuring safety of employees and equipment during and around all hot work procedures Knowledge of Brush and Roll procedures and SSPC standards Power tool usage as required Ensuring spaces and areas have good housekeeping May be required to perform a variety of general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to, transportation, cleaning, lifting, moving, preparing, loading, and unloading materials Performs other activities in a helping or assisting mode as assigned Previous experience preferred, but not required Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have OSHA 10 Maritime Training Shipyard experience a plus. Must be able to pass a 7 year federal and state criminal background check Must be able to pass a 13 panel drug screen including THC Must be able to work overtime to include weekends and holidays. Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more on a continuous basis. Must be able to go up and down ladders, and work at heights. Must be able to work in all types of weather environment.
