Position Summary The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of materials and products. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing orders for shipment, and contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Responsibilities & Duties
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming shipments in designated locations
- Prepare, pick, and pack customer orders for outbound shipment with accuracy and care
- Inspect inbound and outbound materials for damage and document any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including counts, locations, and movement of stock
- Record shipment arrival and departure times as required
- Organize and maintain warehouse areas to support safe and efficient operations
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in accordance with safety procedures
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned. The Ideal Candidate
- Service oriented and responsive, works well across departments to support customer needs
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to completion, especially on returns and discrepancy resolution
- Comfortable prioritizing and staying organized in a fast-paced environment
- Detail focused and quality minded, with a proactive approach to preventing errors Qualifications Needed
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use inventory or shipping systems
- Experience with shipping platforms such as FedEx or UPS is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse Must be able to lift, bend, and stand on feet for extended periods of time Must be able to work on concrete floors 8 hours a day Benefits for Full-Time Employees
