About the Role As a Yard Associate, you'll play an important role in our daily operations by loading materials, assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and keeping our yard safe, clean, and organized. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and working outdoors year-round.

$21.00 Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Employee Discounts Career Growth & Advancement Opportunities What You'll Do Greet and assist customers and contractors in the lumber yard Safely load and unload lumber and building materials using forklifts and other equipment Pull, build, stage, and verify customer and delivery orders Receive and stock incoming inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Assist with inventory counts and general yard organization Operate company vehicles for local pickups or deliveries when needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures Support other branch operations as needed What We're Looking For 1-2 years of yard, warehouse, or building materials experience preferred Forklift experience required (certification is a plus) Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable with a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment Commitment to workplace safety Physical Requirements Regularly lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday Work outdoors in all weather conditions Safely work around moving equipment and active yard operations Why Join QXO?
